A year in books...........April

This is the book I have picked to read in April. I am joining in with Laura over at Circle of pine trees for A Year in books. The back of the book describes it as "a heartbreaking and redemptive novel about the meaning of flowers, the meaning of family and the meaning of love ". We will just have to wait and see.

I missed March but I read Monty Dom's A French Garden Journal in February. If you are looking for a book on the gardens of France full of lovely photos this is not the book for you.  Due to Monty's brilliant writing you get to see them through your imagination. I enjoyed it but sometimes I found it a bit tough going.
